Enter a medieval land besieged by perpetual war in For Honor, the hack-and-slash online game from Ubisoft. After a major cataclysmic event many years ago, humanity was almost completely wiped out. Those left rose in this bleak world to form the Knights, Samurai, and Vikings. The three factions are locked in constant war that continues to this day. The world of For Honor comes equipped with a single player or two player co-op Campaign Mode. Unique to each faction, the story mode will put players in the position of battle-hardened warriors seeking to tip the balance of war in their faction’s favor. They will be tasked with missions, such as storming huge fortresses and assassinating key targets. Meanwhile, the culture and history of their chosen faction will develop around them. If that’s not enough, For Honor also has three different styles of multiplayer game play. In Dominion, players fight against each other on teams of four to control key strategic points. Once these points have been captured and held by one team long enough, the other team’s morale breaks. This means that they can no longer respawn unless they can kill some of their opponents and take back one of the strategic holds. The game ends when one team is completely annihilated. Players can also hone their skills in intense, one-on-one duels. Enter battle against one opponent with nothing but your skills and your wits in a best of five competition. Or, team up with a partner and take part in a Brawl, where teams of two compete against each other in a deathmatch filled with traps to spring and ledges to fall from. With its unique Art of Battle system, For Honor provides a unique and realistic arena for medieval combat. The game features multiple modes and several maps, and is sure to provide players with many hours of enthralling combat.
