Death Stranding is the first project from Hideo Kojima and his new studio as an independent developer. The creator of the Metal Gear series has partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment to create “an all-new, genre-defining experience for the PlayStation 4.”
Not much has been revealed about the game. We know that it will be built using the Decima Engine (same tool used to create Horizon Zero Dawn). Also that it will feature a ruined world and will star Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen.
The game is going through the full production stage now, and Kojima has confirmed that it will be unlike anything he has worked on before. The only hint we have about what the game is about is a piece of narration from Reedus in one of the latest trailers of the game released so far:
“Once there was an explosion, a bang which gave birth to time and space. Once there was an explosion, a bang which set a planet spinning in that space. Once there was an explosion, a bang which gave rise to life as we know it. And then, came the next explosion.”

If you do not have a Steam account, you will need to download the client from the official website, install it and then create your account. Once you are logged into your account, click on "Add game" in the bottom left corner and then on "Activate product on Steam". After a few clicks on "Next", you can finally enter your CD key, the game will automatically be added to your library and the download will begin.

To activate your game with Epic Games, log in to your account on their website, click on "Redeem Code" at the top right of the page, and then enter the game's CD key or code in the field provided.
