Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a role-playing game developed by Idea Factory and localized for the western world by NIS America. It is the direct sequel to 2013’s Fairy Fencer F and follows two new protagonists – Fang and Tiara – as they explore their celestial home of Fencershire.
The plot of Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force focuses on two powerful beings known as goddesses who have been sealed away in weapons called furies ever since they reached an agreement that neither should prevail over the other. As fate would have it, players take control of Fang, the only human capable of wielding these magical swords. By collecting enough power from them, he can release the deities from their eternal prison and help restore the balance between good and evil. Gameplay-wise, this turn-based tactical RPG introduces many systems from its predecessor while also introducing many additional features that add more depth to combat encounters like configurable weapon combos or special camera modes used for judging distances between combatants during battle sequences.
