Developed by TT Fusion and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, this is a LEGO-themed action-adventure video game based on The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

The town of Bricksburg is now renamed to Apocalypseburg after the alien monster invaders have destroyed it. But they have also taken Emmet's friends. With old friends and new characters like General Mayhem and Rex Dangervest, you will travel to the Systar System to save them and explore the LEGO galaxy looking for Relic and Master Pieces.

Small changes introduced by a short tutorial have been made to a gameplay very similar to the one in the previous title. Now, instead of destroying things to get bricks, you get tasks to collect the different LEGO bricks and then use them with a blueprint to build what you need. Instead of using a certain character to get a specific task done, you now can also build an item to perform it.

Combat has also been enhanced, and each character will have their own combos to unleash their special attacks while engaged in battle against alien space invaders and challenging bosses
