Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is an upcoming Japanese Role Playing Game, to be released on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam. The game is being developed by Aquria and will be published by Bandai Namco. The game will cover the events of the entire Alicization Arc, spanning from Volume 9, to Volume 18 and it promises to offer a faithful adaptation of the anime.

The new game features Kirito, the head hero of the Sword Art Online "light novel" series, taking a journey through the "Underworld," a strange but also familiar place where AIs behave like humans in a brand new VR game in the world of the anime. Kirito will encounter well-known characters including Eugeo, Alice, Administrator, and many others as he goes thru heart-pounding scenes from the series through intense combat. The Lycoris is a species of flower found in the South of Japan which symbolizes passion, sad memories, reunion, and self-reliance and has an important part to play in this new Sword Art Online game.
