Alder’s Blood is a stealth, tactical turn-based game, in a world where God is dead. Humankind killed him. Now it is a miserable world, that with the absence of a higher power, is full of demons that can cripple their prey in a blink of an eye. His corpse is somewhere out in the wilds, corruption pouring from it as it rots, spreading chaos and horror throughout the land. His death also brought about the creation of Hunters, a not-quite-human breed of monster hunters and banishers of evil. You will control of a party of Hunters, who look human but wield supernatural powers, the most significant of which is the ability to banish stunned demons that allows you to instantly vanquish an immobilized enemy without combat. Banishment drains a Hunter’s stamina, and leaves them defenseless for a turn.

There are countless types of abilities you can equip, melee weapons, to acquire like axes, swords, knives, and machetes, as well as ranged weapons like rifles, pistols, shotguns, harpoon launchers, and the like, enough to fit any play style.
Enemies react to sound, so think carefully before using any weapon that might catch unwanted attention. Also, the scent of the members of your party can attract demons, that will give away the location of your sanctuary or hiding place.
