Ultra Age is a third-person roguelike hack'n'slash videogame that features frenetic battles in a post-apocalyptic world where there is a huge shortage of resources. The development of a miniaturized plasma reactor and the creation of advanced IA took human civilization to a new level and allowed the creation of a true utopia on our planet. But nothing lasts forever, and the impact of a huge meteorite caused a planetary level catastrophe that ended with a major lack of what had become basic resources. A thousand years later, our kind continues to exist thanks to the combined effort of some scientists that created a project to preserve the rest of humanity by dispersing survivors into the earth’s shelter and cosmic orbital arc. In Ultra Age you will play as Age, a human that goes back to the Earth in order to find items needed for the survival of our race, but the planet has changed a lot in a millennium and now it's an apocalyptic world where mutants and the machines that were designed to serve humans have turned into major threats.
With spectacular gameplay that reminisces of the Devil May Cry series, Ultra Age puts at your disposal a variety of weapons to engage in epic fights against all kinds of enemies. You can chain attacks to create combinations that will cause increased damage but also change your weapon depending on your opponent since each of them will have immunities and vulnerabilities that you will have to consider when facing them. You will also be able to use a special wire to quickly close the gap between you and your enemies and also combine it with attacks in mid-air when you master the combat. It's also possible to take advantage of the rivalries between the different types of creatures that inhabit the planet to make things easier for you but you will have to be quite fast and master the combat of Ultra Age if you want to survive to this adventure.
