A zombie apocalypse is about surviving by using any means necessary, even if it’s conning someone to do the work for you. In the point-and-click comedy game Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning, you have to convince other characters to take on the risk while you reap the rewards, leading to lots of comedic situations that are most definitely NOT for kids.
The game follows Hank, a cartoon rabbit, and his drug dealer pal, Larry, who is a dog. They find themselves caught in a typical zombie apocalypse. Having run out of food and drugs, they are forced to leave the safety of Larry’s apartment in order to scavenge for supplies. Their bravery definitely does not match their level of need, so Hank and Larry attempt to manipulate other people to enter and loot dangerous places for them while guiding them through dialogue options and a pair of binoculars. Of course, this could lead to someone else’s untimely death and zombification, but it’s a risk Hank and Larry are willing to take. It's the survival of the fittest, after all.
A hilarious and fresh take on the walking dead trope, Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning will teach you a thing or two about how to make friends and zombify people.
