The barbarians are on the warpath! Fight against their invasion in Battle Brothers - Warriors of the North, an expansion for the strategy RPG Battle Brothers. This DLC introduces Viking-themed barbarians who hail from the frozen expanse north of the land, a race as cruel as the wind is cold.

Play as your band of mercenaries, this time with ten new backgrounds to choose from, including the northern barbarians. Your origins may shape your playthrough and your ending. New contracts mean you can start earning gold fighting with or against the barbarians.

Of course, you will face an entirely new faction with a possible endgame where the barbarian invaders march upon the lands. The barbarians have their own playstyle and mechanics, so you must adjust your tactics to counter theirs. What’s more, you may visit two new legendary locations, hunt down and kill legendary champions for new loot, or face the mythical Ijirok boss for top-tier gear. You also get new banners and gear, including the nordic war hound as a companion.
