MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - Legend of the Kestrel Lancers is an expansion to the original MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries game that adds a new storyline, new mechs, and a new system for managing your mercenary company.

The storyline of the expansion follows the Kestrel Lancers, a legendary mercenary unit that has been lost to the Inner Sphere for centuries. You will take on the role of a new commander of the Kestrel Lancers and embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind their disappearance. Along the way, you will face new enemies, build relationships with new allies, and discover powerful technology that will aid you in battle.

The expansion also introduces new mechs to the game, including the Corsair, Marauder II, and Warhammer IIC. These mechs are some of the most powerful in the game and will give players new options for their mercenary company's arsenal. Additionally, there are new weapons and equipment that have been added to the game, such as the Heavy Gauss Rifle and the Mech Mortar.
