Hammerwatch II is a new installment in the hack-and-slash series that takes you back to the eponymous castle to fight against hordes of evil creatures. The Kingdom of Herian is in disarray after it was invaded by a dragon army under the command of Blight the Horrible. After escaping through the sewers, a few heroes organized a resistance movement that will fight to restore peace to the Kingdom.
In Hammerwatch II, you control one of those heroes as you fight alongside friends through a variety of scenarios. In this classic-style ARPG, you will journey through different locations in the Kingdom, including Hammer Island, the Fallowfields, and Blackbarrow. Your goal is to help the townsfolk and slay the monsters in the dragon army, ultimately freeing the Kingdom from the invaders. Beasts, undead, and dragons will do anything they can to bring your epic adventure to an end.
Hammerwatch 2 features a gameplay style that reminisces of great classics of the genre, like Gauntlet but introduces a variety of new mechanics, unique abilities, and equipment to let you develop your character as you progress through the adventure. Choose your favorite hero and embark on a perilous journey solo or with up to three friends. You can combine your abilities to create devastating combos and destroy hordes of enemies as you explore the sprawling lands of the kingdom and unveil its secrets.
