In this third installment, Ubisoft offers us a return to the origins. Say bye to the desert and welcome back beautiful tropical islands! Far Cry 3 offers you sun, beach, nature, and really mad pirates that you will have to deal with! The adventure begins when Jason Brody is having the holiday of his life with his friends on a paradise island and has an unfortunate surprise encounter with a certain "Vaas", a disturbed and insane pirate.
Several new notable things are present in this third episode, beginning with a brand new crafting system. There is also a skill tree that enables you to improve your character in different ways, like enhancing their combat capability, speed, stealth, and so on.
In terms of gameplay, Ubisoft has eliminated all the things that could put you off in Far Cry 2. You no longer have to face roadblocks, weapon durability, malaria, checkpoints, etc...
Far Cry 3 also offer you freedom of movement, with a surprising number of side and optional missions and of course a captivating main questline.
Regarding multiplayer, Ubisoft has planned a campaign of six chapters exclusively for the co-op mode. In this mode, you play as one of four characters that have been sold slaves, and your objective is to get revenge and retrieve the contents of the ship’s treasure chest. There classic CTF will be also present, but as a new addition, there will also be a "Firestorm" mode, which will allow you to play 8 vs 8 games. The goal in this mode is to burn the map by attacking several objectives which belong to the opposing team.
