Saints Row 2 is an open-world action-adventure video game that was developed by Volition and published by THQ. It is the second installment in the Saints Row series, following 2006's Saints Row. As part of an ongoing criminal saga within its fictional city known as “Stilwater”, players control a nameless protagonist referred to as “The Boss” with customizable attributes such as gender, clothing, facial features, and more. Upon release met generally positive reviews from critics who praised it for its humor and improved over its predecessor in terms of mission structure and difficulty balance while still maintaining much of the same feeling from the first one.
