Battle Worlds: Kronos was developed by KING Art Games and the game was published by both KING Art Games and THQ Nordic. Battle Worlds: Kronos is a strategy game that aims to provide a truly challenging turn-based strategy experience for both experienced and inexperienced players. The game features two factions: The "Yerla" faction that allows you to command a powerful, high-tech army that possesses advanced technologies, and the Rebels who have to use guerilla warfare to deal with their enemies and who have the "Residents" who deal massive damage. Playing these two campaigns will give you more than 30 hours of exciting strategy gameplay. When you finish the campaign, you can then do single player challenge maps which will test your tactical skills in varied combat scenarios and also keep track of the progress that you've made, to see if you've improved. Battle Worlds: Kronos also has a multiplayer mode that you can either play online or if you're an old-school strategy player, the game even has a hot-seat mode. The game's asynchronous multiplayer allows you to play your game as long as you want to, similar to the "play-by-mail" system that was used in the past. After you finish your round the game saves it on the online server and then your opponent begins his turn. This allows you to stop and continue the match whenever you want to. Battle Worlds: Kronos has a smart AI that will take you on tactically, considering every move and matching your strategy. The AI is made to give even the veteran strategy players a challenge. Battle Worlds: Kronos has a ladder system and regular tournaments for players that like to engage in competitive play. There are around 40 distinct infantry, ground, naval, and airborne units available to you, as well as buildings which can be upgraded to give them new capabilities. Battle Worlds: Kronos also has a powerful editor (only available on Windows) which will allow you to make your own maps and even missions.
