Released a little over a year ago on Nintendo Switch, Cadence of Hyrule has won over players with a rather special recipe. This is a cross-over between Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda. takes the gameplay of the first one, a rhythmic rogue-like in which you move and attack following the rhythm of the music, to place it in the universe of The Legend of Zelda series.
Cadence of Hyrule already has a first free DLC, Ode to Octavo, which was released at the end of last year and offered Cadence of Hyrule players the possibility of playing as the character Octavo, the antagonist of the game, but also a new story and a dungeon mode.
During the Nintendo Direct Mini that took place yesterday, we were able to discover that Cadence of Hyrule will be expanded, not with one but three new DLCs. The first one is already available, and it's a Character Pack that adds Impa, Aria, Frederick, Black Link, and Black Zelda as playable characters. The second is the Melodies Pack, which will add 39 new songs to give rhythm to your adventure. Finally, Symphony of the Mask will add Skull Kid from Majora's Mask, a new map, new tracks, and a new story when it's released.
While the first of these packs is already available, the exact release dates of the others have not yet been revealed. The Melodies Pack is scheduled for August and Symphony of the Mask will arrive in September. These three DLCs are available independently, but also as part of a Season Pass that groups them together and that is already available too.
Finally, for those who do not yet own Cadence of Hyrule, a new edition of the game will be available in a physical version on October 23 and it will include all the DLCs of the game. As usual, if you want to find it at the best price, visit our comparator.
