Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer is free this weekend

We are getting used to having plenty of options when it comes to playing free games during the weekend, and it seems that we will be spoiled during this one too. If you have not experienced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer you will be able to do it this weekend through Call of Duty: Warzone. Five of the most popular Modern Warfare multiplayer maps are available starting today to all Warzone players. Those include Aniyah Incursion, Hovec Sawmill, Khandor Hideout, Shoot House, and Talsik Backlot.

All of the maps can be played on 6v6, and 10v10 matches and the only requirement you need to meet is that you have to download and install Call of Duty: Warzone if you are not already playing it. The free trial is already available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Make sure that you start to download the client as soon as possible because it may take a while depending on your connection and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer maps will only be playable through the weekend.

If you take part in the trial and you like it you may want to consider giving Call of Duty: Warzone a try too. Although it will not be exactly the same, it offers two different gameplay modes. The first one is a squad-based Battle Royale for up to 150 players on a huge map where the last team standing wins. The second one is Plunder, which follows the same rules but the winner is decided by the amount of cash that a team is able to gather and secure during the battle. As you play you will unlock plenty of rewards that include cosmetic items and bonuses. Also, Call of Duty: Warzone is completely free on all platforms.
