Season three of Call of Duty: Warzone has just kicked off a few days ago and Activision seems to have quite a few things in store for the players. The popular trios mode is back already and three new maps are available too, including the reimagination of Call of Duty 4's classic map Talsik Backlot, as well as Hovec Sawmill and Aniyah Incursion. If you wanted more firepower for your character you can now make use of two new weapons: the Renetti pistol and the awesome-looking SKS marksman rifle. Those are available for free but it will take a bit of effort on your part to unlock them via the Battle Pass system. You will also notice than the number and the variety of weapons that you can find on the map while playing Call of Duty: Warzone has been increased, and now there will also be silenced versions of some of your favorite guns.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season three is also bringing new operators. You know one of them already and we won't spoil it for those that are considering playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign, but there are more to come in the future. Like Ronin, Warcom's master of unconventional warfare and expert saboteur, or Iskra, a new Allegiance fighter in the Chimera division. These will be available in the game Store as the season progresses.
Regarding the gameplay modes, Quads are staying during this season and Trios is getting a new gameplay mode in the form of Scopes and Scatter Guns. This mode only allows players to use sniper rifles and shotguns so many players will be forced out of their comfort zone and they will have to adapt their gameplay style if they want to shine. There is no release date for Scopes and Scatter Guns but we expect that it will be playable soon in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Call of Duty: Warzone offers you the best features of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare adapted to a free-to-play Battle Royale environment, and the beginning of its third season is the perfect moment to give it a try if you are not playing it already.
