The Season of the Dragon is finally over and the story of Tamriel continues. Bethesda Softworks has officially launched a new season for The Elder Scrolls Online and the starting point is the release of a new DLC, Harrowstorm, which marks the beginning of a year-long adventure that will uncover the secrets of the Dark Heart of Skyrim.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstorm is the latest expansion pack for the game, and it's free for all the players who have an active subscription to the game. It can also be purchased through the Crown Store in the game and you don't need to have any previous content unlocked to access it. The new DLC features two new dungeons for groups of four players: Icereach and Unhallowed Grave.
Solving the mystery of Icereach will require players to travel to the northern shores of Skyrim and travel to an isolated island where the witches of Icereach Coven are summoning deadly storms that are devastating to the surrounding area. Stopping them before the damage is irreparable will be your mission but nobody knows what kind of threats you will have to face to complete it.
Unhallowed Grave will pit you and your friends against a group of necromancers and monsters that are disturbing the eternal rest of the souls in an ancient burial site under the sands of Bangkorai. The legends say that a powerful evil being is buried there and the last member of the guardians of the tomb requests your help. You must investigate the site and get rid of the invaders.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Harrowstorm has been released as part of Update 25, which also includes some performance improvements for the game. As revealed by Bethesda, more content will be released as this season progresses, and the story will reach its peak with the release of the new The Elder Scrolls Online chapter, Greymoor, which you can buy separately or as an upgrade to your already existing TESO account.
