Modern Warfare's season three starts this week

Call of Duty fans are having a blast with the recent release of Warzone as part of Modern Warfare's features. The addition of the free-to-play battle royale mode to the game has attracted a lot of players increasing both the popularity and the population in the game. Having new people to fight in PvP is always good, especially after a long weekend in which plenty of players have been allowed to experience the multiplayer modes of Modern Warfare for free and with double exp. Infinity Ward has used that opportunity to announce the starting date of the new season for both Modern Warfare and Warzone, which will kick off on April 8.

From next Wednesday, all players will be able to compete for new rewards and a higher ranking  during the Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Although not many details about what additions this season will bring have been revealed, we already know that a new operator will be available. You will be able to play as Alex, one of the characters of the main campaign in the game. We all thought he had sacrificed himself for the greater good but it turns out that he survived. The announcement above confirms his presence in this third season, although he has a prosthetic leg, so he didn't escape unscathed. Not much else has been revealed so far about the new season, but we expect to receive more information in the next couple of days.

Also, if you have been a fan of the Modern Warfare series for a while, you may be interested in the new remaster of Modern Warfare 2 campaign, which has been announced recently. This high definition version will bring back all the thrilling action of the classic game on April 30th on PC and Xbox One but you can already play it on PlayStation 4.
