Monster Hunter World: Iceborne welcomes a new epic monster in May

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has added plenty of content to the base game but Capcom is also constantly adding new monsters to hunt to Monster Hunter World through different updates and limited time events. The company has announced that a new event is coming next month and a fan-favorite monster will be added in May. Those are just part of the new features that are being added to the game.

The Full Bloom Fest limited-time event begins on April 10th and it will keep players occupied celebrating Spring until May 7th. To take part in the event you will need to visit Seliana gathering hub where you will be able to unlock several cosmetic items, including seasonal Palico armor, the Whetfish Dual Blades and even a Poogie costume for your character among other things. You will also be able to craft special armor by using the materials that you will get as rewards from bounties and by logging in to the game. Of course you will need to own Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion to take part in the event, but if you don't have it yet you still can participate an event similar to last year's spring event in Astera.

Regarding the monsters, if you are playing on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One you are probably hunting Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang already. They just were introduced into the game for console players and they are coming to PC on April 9th. With them, Capcom advances another step into synchronizing the PC and console versions of Monster Hunter World, something that will be achieved when the new monster coming in May is released. The black dragon Alatreon will challenge players at some point in May and it will be available to PS4, Xbox One and PC players on the same day. It's a huge dragon that the fans of the series will remember from Monster Hunter 3. It is especially dangerous because it can shift between different elements, making it really difficult to prepare against its attacks. Alatreon will be added to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne as a free update.
