Far Cry 5 is free this weekend via Uplay

Ubisoft has helped people having a bit of fun while they have been confined at home during the last few weeks. The french company has given some of their games away for a limited time and anyone that wahted to get a free copy of Assassin's Creed 2 and some other games were able to do so. The usual method to deliver those has been through Ubisoft's digital platform for games, Uplay, and that's exactly what will be used to allow players to give a try to Far Cry 5 during the next few days.

Far Cry 5 is a first-person action-adventure game that will take you to the fictional county of Hope, Montana. You will play as a rookie sheriff deputy that is part of the task force that has been sent to the place to arrest Joseph Seed, the leader of a militaristic doomsday cult which controls the zone through violence and coercion. When you are escorting him away, you suffer the attack of the cultist and you are the only one to escape from being captured. With the county being under the control of the sect, you will have to find people that helps you to fight against them and rescue your teammates. 

 

 

Far Cry 5 is an open-world adventure with plenty of territory to explore and missionsto take on as you try to put an end to the chaos created by the cult.
