Resident Evil Village: Capcom asks for your opinion

Announced about a month ago during Sony's event dedicated to Playstation 5 games, Resident Evil Village made a strong impression. In fact, since the release of Resident Evil 7, the fans of the series have been impatient to discover a new installment after three years of waiting. The game has been announced for 2021 on new generation consoles, and on PC.

We don't have much information about Resident Evil Village yet, apart from what we extracted from the trailer revealed in June. The game takes place several years after the events in Resident Evil 7, with Ethan having a visibly peaceful life with his family since then. But it seems that Chris Redfield will come and disturb this tranquility. In terms of features, nothing is certain yet, but if we believe the trailer, it seems that Resident Evil Village would be played in the first-person view like its predecessor.

While we wait for more information about Resident Evil Village, Capcom gives us the opportunity to give our opinion about the game via a survey. Several questions are mentioned in it, in particular about the expectations of the players, both in terms of history, gameplay, and graphics. Apart from the fact that it is rather nice that Capcom takes into account the opinions of the players, this survey reveals that everything is not yet set in stone when it comes to the development of the game.

Another interesting point is that Capcom could be publishing a demo of the game. One question in particular asks us to assess our interest in a potential demo. This is not surprising in itself, since Capcom had already offered demos for the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.

We will have to wait for a bit to learn more about Resident Evil Village, but not that long since Capcom has already scheduled a new meeting for the month of August to give us more info about the game.
