Stardew Valley is receiving new endgame content

Stardew Valley has been available for quite a while but the game doesn't really feel old because it's been steadily receiving updates that added new features and content. The simulation role-playing video game developed by Eric Barone and released for PC on 2016 puts you in the shoes of a man that wants to get away from the stressful life in the city and finds the perfect opportunity to do it when he inherits an old farm that was owned by his grandfather. Stardew Valley is a farming simulator and it allows you to grow crops, raise livestock, trade produce and socialize with other townsfolk while you develop your farm and turn it into a profitable place. The premise of the game and its mechanics may seem simple, but Stardew Valley has managed to become quite a popular indie game with more than 10 million copies sold across all platforms.

Eric Barone recently revealed that he is working on a new update for Stardew Valley which will include "a significant new piece of endgame content". This content seems to have something to do with Willy's fish shop in Pelican Town and the door in the back of his shop. Nothing has been revealed about it yet, but Eric Barone has teased the upcoming 1.5 patch for Stardew Valley on Twitter already.

The previous update was released at the end of 2019 and it added a sizeable amount of content to the game. It looks that there is a lot of work to be done before the next one is ready, but that doesn't mean that you can't have fun playing Stardew Valley until then.
