There will be no micro-transactions in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time

Announced last week at the Summer Game Fest, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time made a big impression on the fans of the series. After the release of the remakes of the first three installments in the series included in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing, it turned out that players are still interested in our marsupial, all probably sprinkled with a hint of nostalgia.

Anyway, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be released in the fall, more precisely on October 2, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. We have already had a certain amount of information about the game, such as the presence of new masks that will give powers to Crash or even the possibility of playing other characters like Coco or Cortex.

We have been able to learn a little more about the game in recent days. One of the main things that has surprised players is that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will obviously offer local multiplayer, for 2 to 4 players. The info was revealed via the game page in the Playstation Store, but we don't know anything else about it so far because Activision hasn't raised the subject yet. Another information about the game was revealed on Twitter by @BroskiBae, who said that the game would offer more than 100 levels. The information would come from an email sent by GameStop, which also mentions several game modes.

Finally, a point that worried players has just been clarified by Toys for Bob, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will not include micro-transactions. The confusion about this came from the game page on the Microsoft Store which mentioned that the game would include in-app purchases, but it seems that this is not ultimately the case.

We should know more details about Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time in the months to come before its release on October 2, and we can't wait for it to happen.
