Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is revealed in the Summer Game Fest

We told you about this in a previous article. Following the cancellation of E3 2020, a number of initiatives to alleviate the problem have appeared. Some emerging media such as IGN or publishers themselves will hold their own online conferences. One of them is the Summer Game Fest created by Geoff Keighley, producer and presenter of the Game Awards.

On the official website of the event, which will continue until August, you can check the calendar of the various meetings which will be offered during it. It happens that a “surprise” revelation took place last night by Geoff Keighley. He announced via his Twitter account that the game announced today would be "cool and fun", and it turns out to be a game from the Tony Hawk's series. Titled Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, this game is not really new since it is a compilation of the first two games in the series, released in 1999 and 2000, but fully remastered. Tony Hawk himself was present to present the game, along with Jen Oneal, head of Vicarious Vision, which is in charge of its development.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 allows you to relive the experience of the two original games with graphics in 4K. The collection will include all the levels, characters, and tricks that fans of the series could use at the time. Another important dimension of Tony Hawk's games is the soundtrack, and most of the tracks from the original games should be present in the remaster. In addition to this, the game will include local and online multiplayer, as well as a Create a Park mode to design your own routes and share them online.

The icing on the cake is that we even have a release date for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, and it's not that far since it will be released on September 4, 2020, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
