Sucker Punch has not disappointed the players and the first gameplay video of Ghost of Tsushima was revealed yesterday during the State of Play as expected. A long video with 18 minutes of gameplay was shown at the event and it served to demonstrate that the game has all the elements needed to become a huge success. With detailed graphics and very solid gameplay Ghost of Tsushima narrates the story of Jin Sakai, the only samurai that faced the Mongol invasion of the isle of Tsushima in 1274.
Ghost of Tsushima creates a very appropriate atmosphere that will allow players to delve into the mind of a man torn between tradition and the necessity of fighting a superior enemy. The traditional ways of the Samurai in combat are the antithesis of what may be needed to fight such a superior force. Jin's determination will drive him to a point where he has to find a new way of fighting his enemies but leaving behind the ways that he has engraved in his mind and body during his life is going to be difficult, and not everyone is prepared to acknowledge his effort.
As we can see in the video, depending on your choices you will use two completely different fighting styles in Ghost of Tsushima. You can fight honorably and follow the traditional ways or you can use every means at your disposal to defeat your enemies, including dirty tricks and stealth. Whatever you choose, Ghost of Tsushima will prove to be a challenge, but at the same time, it gives you plenty of options to face your foes.
Ghost of Tsushima seems to be ready to be released, so we do not expect to see any delays and the game should be available on July 17th, 2020, only on PlayStation 4.
