Until now, all that we had seen about Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood were a few cinematics that, although setting the scenery for the game, didn't reveal quite much about the kind of gameplay that the game will offer to us. We already knew that we are going to play as Cahal, a werewolf member of the Fianna tribe that was exiled and who returns to help his pack to fight an imminent danger that threatens with destroying it. The events in the story are set in motion when Cahal finds out that something has happened with his daughter, and the story will lead him to fight against Pentex, a multinational corporation that serves as a tool to the Wyrm, an evil force that tries to corrupt the planet and destroy Gaia.
Cyanide Studio has published the first gameplay video of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood and it looks quite spectacular. We can see Cahal fighting abominations created by Pentex in human and lupus form, but also as the deadliest of the werewolf forms: crinos.
As you can see in the video Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is played in third-person view and it will offer us a good dose of action while we try to thwart Pentex's plans and fight against those who want to defile Mother Earth. Although Pentex seems to be a normal company on the surface, its workers are deeply linked with the Wyrm one way or another and their true nature will be revealed when we face them.
Along with the gameplay video, Cyanide Studio has also revealed that Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood won't be ready until next year, and has set its launch date for February 4, 2021. The best thing about that is that the game will be playable on next-gen consoles, as well as on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
