If you are among the players that have spent countless hours having a blast by playing Worms games with your friends at home you will probably not be very surprised when you know that Worms Armageddon has received a new update. Team 17 is working on Worms Rumble, a new battle royale version of the fan-favorite franchise, but many seasoned players favor the old gameplay style in 2D of the original titles in the series. There were already a lot of controversies when the first Worms game in 3D was released and many people just think that the old games in the series are just more fun. Worms Armageddon shines as one of the best games in the series and it was released in 1999. It received its previous update seven years ago but a new one was just implemented to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Worms.
Update 3.8 for Worms Armageddon comes with quite a few new features. It adds extended scheme options that will allow players to alter gameplay by manipulating physics or choosing between a huge array of tweaks. These options are intended for experienced Worms players and you must have completed the Single Player mode and unlocked The Full Wormage to access them. The update also improves animations with "tweening" and adds a much-desired windowed mode, as well as plenty of fixes to the game. You will also be able to add AI-controlled teams to your online games, so there will be no problem if you don't have enough players. Finally, Worms Armageddon localization has been improved and now it supports seven languages, including Finnish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
We don't know if you prefer Worms in 2D or 3D, but Worms Armageddon remains to be one of the most fun titles in the artillery games series and if you want to play it you can find it at the best price in our comparator.
