Yakuza: Like a Dragon has a release date

Yakuza series has been a staple on PlayStation for a long time before being available on other platforms, but when it reached Xbox and PC it became even more popular. The adventures of Kazuma Kiryu and all the other characters involved witht he Tojo Clan have been entertaining players for quite a few years and now that the new installment in the series will focus on a different character there is a lot of expectation among the fans to see how it turns out. In Yakuza: Like a Dragon, you will abandon Tokyo area and move to Yokohama, where a new character, Ichiban Kasuga, will discover that taking the blame for a crime he did not commit has not granted him the favor of his clan. Instead of that, everyone has forgotten about him, and when he confronts the clan leader he ends shot and abandoned in a dirty alley.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will follow the adventures of Ichiban Kasuga and he tries to get used to his new life. Like its predecessors, the game will include lots of minigames but there will be a major difference: instead of real time combat mechanics, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will feature turn-based RPG combat in which you will control a team of up to 4 characters. As you can imagine, this is quite a risky move in a series that has had players acustomed to a certain gameplay style for so many years, but it's likely that the real fans of Yakuza won't really mind about it.

With all its novelties and changes, Yakuza: Like a Dragon was released in January in Japan, but the game will be available in the western market quite soon. Developer SEGA has just announces that  Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be available on November 13 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
