A new Crash Bandicoot game in development?

Crash Bandicoot, one of the most iconic characters of the 90s, could be coming back. In 2017, fans were able to rejoice over his great return with N. Sane Trilogy after a long absence of 9 years. A few years later, in 2020,  It's About Time brought Crash back to the first line. After that, the future was has been uncertain for the marsupial since Toys for Bob, the studio that now manages the license, joined the Warzone team under the request of Activision.

Fortunately, Jez Corden of Windows Central recently reassured fans in a podcast that Toys for Bob is indeed working on a new Crash Bandicoot game. Rand al Thor, the journalist's colleague, backed up his claims while specifying that the title should be announced this Sunday during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. Although they say that this information was not to be released, they add a layer by saying that the game would be multiplayer-oriented for four players, like a Crash brawler. It's hard to make up your mind about the nature of the game. Is it a spin-off, Crash Bandicoot 5, or what? Anyway, we'll have to wait for the Xbox conference this Sunday at 7 pm CET to find out more about this matter.

In the meantime, if you want to rediscover the first Crash games, then buying Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is the best option. Otherwise, you can opt for the sequel with Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, two titles that you can find at the best price thanks to our comparator.
