A new update adds more content to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

It was released two weeks ago, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare continues to be talked about. The last title of the series aims to returns to its roots and it offers an atmosphere more realistic than ever, sometimes even a little too much according to some players. Criticism of the portraits of the Russians, or the sometimes disturbing resemblance to real tragic events, have even earned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare some articles in the non-specialized press.

Despite the polemics that surrounded the game, it did not prevent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to be a real success, being the best-selling game of the month of October on the Playstation Store. And players will also be able to enjoy new free content today, with the deployment of the first update of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

This patch brings a lot of novelties in addition to providing various fixes for some bugs and improving the stability of the game. Two new maps are available: Krovnik Farmland for the Ground Warfare mode and Shoot House for the 6v6 multiplayer. Added to this, there is the return of the Strategic Point mode (Hardpoint), which was introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and a new playlist, Shoot House 24/7, which is a mix of Domination, Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, and Elimination Confirmed. You can see the full patch notes at this address.

All this content will be available for free today for all players, and on all platforms. In parallel, Infinity Ward also provided some details about the Battle Pass of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Although nothing has been revealed of its content for the moment, we now know that it will arrive at some point in December, at the same time as the first season of the game.
