A Plague Tale: Innocence will launch on Switch in July

A Plague Tale: Innocence is an adventure that doesn't leave you indifferent. The story of a couple of siblings of noble ascendance that have to survive to the woes of living in a France devastated by disease is an emotive experience that is difficult to forget, especially if you consider the whole situation. It's the year 1349 and France has been invaded by the English troops during the Hundred Year's War. Surviving is hard enough, even for wealthy people, but a new threat has appeared in the form of a lethal plague. The Black Death is is spreading through Europe and the fear of the plague is so great that even the Inquisition is mercilessly hunting anyone that may have contact with an infected. As a result of that Amicia and her little brother Hugo, who has been afflicted with a strange illness since birth, are hunted by the Inquisition troops, and this leads to an epic adventure where they will have to do whatever it takes to survive.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a survival horror adventure that takes its protagonists to the limit in many ways as it depicts a world ravaged by war and disease where human life is worth pretty much nothing. Amicia has to take care of her little brother while she looks for a cure for his illness and escapes from the Inquisition. Since she is not able to face them in combat, she will have to put to the best use the scarce resources and skills she has in order to get through difficult situations alive. But the worst enemy that she has in the game is not the soldiers, but the plague. She will have to deal with massive swarms of rats that plague every corner and whose bite can infect her with the plague.
