Assassin's Creed Mirage exposes the history of Baghdad

Assassin's Creed is a video game series that makes use of history to deliver a unique gameplay experience. The historical accuracy and incredible level of detail used to represent the settings of its games have even turned some of them into reference material for students. The Discovery Tours, for example, let you explore Ancient Egypt (Assassin's Creed Origins), Ancient Greece (Assassin's Creed Odyssey), and the Viking era (Assassin's Creed Valhalla), to learn more about their history and daily life. Assassin's Creed Mirage will offer a similar experience to the players that will provide them with more knowledge about the history of Baghdad and the Abbasid Caliphate circa the ninth century.

Travel back in time

Following the steps of its predecessors, Assassin's Creed Mirage features History of Baghdad, a new type of immersive experience that allows you to visit 66 historical sites throughout Baghdad and unlock "research-driven articles that dig into information across five topics: Economy; Belief & Daily Life; Government; Art & Science; and Court Life".

This is not a separate experience and it's integrated into Assassin's Creed Mirage as a part of an in-game codex full of relevant information about the historical setting of the game. Also, you will unlock some in-game rewards for Basim if you complete the whole progression through the experience.

The historical background of the games in the Assassin's Creed series gives them a solid foundation to make the experience more believable and allows players a deeper level of immersion. Despite being smaller than other recent installments, Assassin's Creed Mirage will maintain the same level of historical detail, which is something that the fans will love.

If you want to join Basim in his epic adventure and discover a new chapter in the story of the brotherhood, the release of the game is scheduled for October 12 and you can get an Assassin's Creed Mirage code with our comparator already.
