Ubisoft showcases Assassin's Creed Mirage in new videos

Ubisoft is not going through its best moment due to the cancelation of some projects, but the developer has decided to focus on its most important franchises to move forward. Assassin's Creed Mirage is the main priority of the French company and its latest event demonstrates it. Two new videos, one focused on the story and the second one showing a gameplay guide, have caught the eye of all the fans, proving that Assassin's Creed is still a favorite of the masses.

An intriguing story

Assassin's Creed Mirage follows the steps of Basim, a street thief on a quest for vengeance that leaves Baghdad to join an ancient secret organization. By following its precepts, he will become a completely different person and find the answer to the nightmarish visions that have been haunting him for a long time.

The story in Assassin's Creed Mirage may seem less epic than the ones in previous installments in the series, but it's completely intended as Ubisoft was looking to create a smaller and more personal game with gameplay more tied to the stealth and assassination mechanics that made Assassin's Creed one of the most popular video game franchises. In fact, the developers have even added a nostalgic "blue-grey" filter that makes Assassin's Creed Mirage look like the first game in the series.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will take the series back to its roots. That's something the fans have been asking for a while. Although games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla have properly integrated the lore of the series, they have veered towards a more grandiose adventure that is less intimate than the first games in the series.

The release of the game is scheduled for October 12 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The best prices to buy a cheap Assassin's Creed Mirage code are already available with our comparator.
