Assassin's Creed Mirage will bring back old customization systems

Ubisoft is focused on the Assassin's Creed series and the upcoming release of its latest installment. Assassin's Creed Mirage promises a return to the origins of the series with a smaller experience that will emphasize the type of gameplay that made millions of players true fans of the original Assassin's Creed. More stealth-based action, acrobatics, assassination, and a cozier experience with a solid storyline that moves away from the huge open-world adventure that the fans enjoyed in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

This kind of approach to the series does not mean that Assassin's Creed Mirage is going to be lacking in terms of detail. The game will have a solid historical background and it will let you discover Baghdad as it was during the ninth century, and it will also include features that the fans of the Assassin's Creed series have been missing for a long while.

A deeper level of customization

In the most recent years, the titles in the Assassin's Creed series have included plenty of ways of customizing your character's look with extreme detail. The number of outfits and different looks available in games like Assassin's Creed Origins is astounding but there is a feature that was first seen in Assassin's Creed 2. We are talking of dyeing, of course. As simple as it seems, the possibility of dyeing your character's outfit as you see fit is something that the fans have been requesting for a while, and it will be back in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Ubisoft has confirmed it via Twitter with a small video that shows Basim wearing one of his outfits in the game dyed in different colors.

Small additions like this definitely contribute to delivering a more personal experience that the players enjoy more. Something as simple as a color change can be quite meaningful even story-wise. Assassin's Creed Mirage is walking towards that path leaving aside the grandiose scale of its predecessors.

If you want to join Basim and discover his beginnings in the Brotherhood, the release of the game is scheduled for October 12, 2023, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The best prices to get your Assassin's Creed Mirage CD key are available with our comparator.
