Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's second DLC has been delayed

Ubisoft is having problems with its recently released games and the ones on the way. Assassin's Creed Shadows release date was postponed, the results of Star Wars Outlaws were not as good as expected and the developer studio is trying to overhaul its gameplay systems, and other problems are generating, and everything seems to become an uphill journey for the company in the latest months. Now, it's Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora the one causing another problem, more exactly, it's upcoming DLC Secret of the Spires, which was supposed to be released today.

Last minute delay

According to Ubisoft, the release of the second expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been delayed a few days due to an unexpected "critical last-minute issue" ahead of the previously announced date. Those players who were eager to dive into the new content will have now to wait until 28 November at 9AM CET/8AM GMT. A two-day delay doesn't seem that much of a problem, but such an occurrence right before the DLC is released doesn't look very good either, especially for a DLC that should have been tested thoroughly before its launch day. This is even more obvious when considering Ubisoft's current situation, as the company cannot afford many mistakes due to the problems piling up at its door.

The Secrets of the Spires DLC promises to expand the story in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with a new adventure that will take players to the Spires in the Clouded Forest, a mountainous region to discover in Pandora which will be the scenario of epic aerial battles. The DLC is the second expansion after The Sky Breaker and both of them are included in the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Season Pass.
