September 30th is the new date that Larian Studios has chosen to launch Baldur's Gate III on Early Access. The launch of the game was originally scheduled for the current month, but the developers revealed that it wouldn't make it, and they announced that we would have more news on this matter yesterday. They didn't disappoint and we finally got to know that Baldur's Gate III will be playable on September 30th. Of course, it will be the Early Access version of the game and not the final version, but considering that Baldur's Gate III is one of the games most anticipated in the recent years it's almost guaranteed that a huge number of players will be testing the game if nothing goes wrong.
We could also watch some bits of Baldur's Gate III gameplay in yesterday's Panel From Hell video. Also, Larian Studios specified what kind of content will be available to the players at the beginning of Early Access. The game will allow players to explore the lands of Avernus, Faerun, and the Underdark as they progress through the adventure. The level cap will be set as 4 initially, and we do not know yet if there are plans for raising it later. There will be five Origin characters available at Early Acess launch but more could be added later. Those are Astarion (Elf/Vampire Rogue), Lae’zel (Githyanki Warrior), Gale (Human Wizard), Wyll (Human Warlock), and Shadowheart (Half-Elf Cleric). You will be able to create your own character too.
Along with this announcement, another important matter about Baldur's Gate III has been also revealed, and it's the requirements needed to play the Early Access version on PC.

Be aware that delays on the Early Access release date for Baldur's Gate 3 are still possible. It's quite likely that you have already pre-ordered the game if you are a fan of the series, so do not be too disappointed if you have to wait for a bit longer.
