Baldur's Gate III expands its story with an epilogue

Larian Studios has not released many patches to fix issues in Baldur's Gate III after the game was released. The most popular RPG released in recent years started its journey in a very good state after spending about a year in Early Access, and it only suffered several minor bugs that did not really impact gameplay. Now a fifth update is about to be released for Baldur's Gate III, and the developers have surprised the fans by announcing that it will add an epilogue to the game.

An exciting unknown

Baldur's Gate III features a branching storyline that your decisions during the game can alter significantly. The game offers you total freedom to the point of allowing you to kill important characters. Larian has thought of everything to make it work no matter what you do. Unfortunately, the studio already stated that expanding the game is a very complicated task because of the way the Dungeons and Dragons ruleset is structured. However, the addition of an epilogue in the upcoming patch may open some door to future content, but we won't know it until it's available.

The upcoming update will also introduce some fixes and tackle the slowdown problems indirectly caused by players stealing too many things. The full patch notes will be revealed later this week and they may include some hints about the content in the prologue.
