In recent years, it seems like there's a common tradition where at least one new Souls-like game needs to be released each year. Following the success of Elden Ring and Lies of P, everyone is eagerly anticipating Black Myth: Wukong to become the next successful Souls-like title.

In a Twitter post, Game Science revealed that their upcoming game, Black Myth: Wukong, has completed its development process:

The developers confirmed that the development of Black Myth: Wukong is now in its final stages, and the game will be released on schedule. They mentioned that their team has been "working hard on the final stages of experiencing, testing, and deploying the game." The developers also teased that a new trailer will be released at 10 AM China time on August 8, ahead of the game's launch.

The developers also advised players to avoid leaks from unofficial sources:

"Although we're incredibly eager to share every fun detail of the game with you, "Black Myth: Wukong" is a single-player game with an original storyline and unique gameplay. Therefore, we kindly ask that in these last few days before the official release, you avoid spreading any text, images, or videos that might reveal unreleased content, as well as any "leak information" from unofficial sources. We sincerely hope that all the mysteries and surprises of "Black Myth: Wukong" remain intact until the moment you embark on your journey."

Black Myth Wukong will be released on August 20 for PC and PlayStation 5. The game is also planned for release on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, but this has been delayed due to optimization issues, according to the developers.
