Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War is having a rocky launch

Most seasoned video game players will not really be surprised if we tell them that Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War launch is not as smooth as it should. That's something that usually happens every time one of the games in the Call of Duty franchise is released. The reasons are quite easy to understand. Call of Duty is one of the most popular video games series all over the world and the massive amount of players trying to connect to the servers at the same time could create some problems. That is what seems to be happening to many players that are trying to play Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War on PC today. They are having trouble when trying to connect to the servers and receiving a message saying "The Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War server is not available at this time". Then they are put on a queue that gets increasingly longer without any hope of being able to play. Some other players are suffering different issues, and they are unable to play the campaign, even though connecting to the server is not needed to play on that mode once you have downloaded the game. Therefore, it's quite likely that Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will receive some kind of hotfix soon.

Despite all those problems that are quite common on a launch day for any major title and that will probably be fixed in the next few days, the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War has been highly anticipated, and there were a lot of players waiting to immerse themselves in the campaign but also eager to experience its multiplayer gameplay. That second aspect of the game will be reinforced next month when Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War integrates Warzone, and we hope that the servers are ready for it by then, because the free to play Call of Duty battle royale already has more fans than any of the main games in the license.
