Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta date revealed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta date revealed

Activision is looking forward to releasing Modern Warfare 2. Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Vanguard is not having as results as good as other games in the popular FPS franchise. The company has put the blame on the setting, but the reality is that the game has suffered a series of problems. It's also harder to catch the eye of the players as the offer of free-to-play games has increased, and they deliver an experience that is interesting enough for many players. Warzone has established itself as the main referent in the Call of Duty franchise, despite the very limited gameplay offer that it provides to the player compared to Call of Duty: Vanguard. But Activision expects to make Call of Duty rise as a phoenix with Modern Warfare 2.

A highly anticipated beta phase

The Call of Duty League Championship Weekend was the perfect event to announce the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta date. The testing phase will kick off on September 16. As usual, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players will get access to the beta first, and players from other platforms will have to wait a bit longer. If you have pre-ordered the game, you can join the beta on September 16 on PlayStation consoles. If you are yet to visit our comparator to find the best price for your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 CD key by that date, you still get to try the game from September 18.

Xbox and PC players will have to wait one week longer to take part in the Modern Warfare 2 beta. No matter what platform you choose to play, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 open beta will run from September 24 to September 26, and you can participate for free.

Developer Infinity Ward has described the contents of the beta and said that players will get access to "a robust multiplayer experience going beyond the Core 6v6 experience with a variety of meticulously designed maps of various sizes, and an equally impressive set of Modes, Progression experiences, and other aspects."
