Call of Duty: Vanguard will launch in November

Even though it was widely known that Activision Blizzard is going to launch a new Call of Duty game this year, very little details were known about it. We recently got to know the name of the new installment in the popular first-person shooter series, Call of Duty: Vanguard, but it was finally revealed yesterday. The developer decided to show it for the first time similarly to Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War and organized a reveal event in Warzone. You can watch the official Call of Duty: Vanguard worldwide reveal video below.

We already knew that Call of Duty: Vanguard would be set in World War II. During the campaign, you will play as four different members of Task Force One through a series of narrative missions that will take you through several theatres of war. The campaign takes you through the origin and creation of the Special Forces from the point of view of the protagonists. But Call of Duty: Vanguard will also offer a good dose of multiplayer action. It will feature twenty different multiplayer maps at launch so you can enjoy the game along with other players in a wide range of scenarios on different game modes, including a new version of the popular 2v2 Gunfight mode. If you are looking for a different experience or a fan of the Zombies mode from other games in the series, Call of Duty: Vanguard won't disappoint you, as it will offer a brand new undead killing experience.

All those features will be present in Call of Duty: Vanguard at launch, but the game will also receive additional free content later, including new maps, gameplay modes, and more. Developer Sledgehammer Games has also confirmed that Call of Duty: Vanguard will launch November 5 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. If you are a fan of Warzone, you can also expect the content in the new game to be integrated progressively, starting with an additional map and a few surprises when Call of Duty: Vanguard becomes available.
