Activision shows off the campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War

After quite a long wait, we could finally know all the details about Sony's next-gen console during PlayStation 5 Showcase event yesterday, and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War was one of the games in the show. Activision didn't miss the opportunity of revealing the campaign in the game to the huge number of players that were watching the event. Although the majority of them were more interested in knowing about the price of the console rather than any specific game, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War campaign video had a very good reception.

The video shows CIA Operative Alex Mason who arrives at Trabzon airfield in Turkey in a mission to eliminate a Russian target. As usual, things don't go as planned and it gets really nasty in there, but you better watch what happens in the video below.

It seems that Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will have quite an interesting campaign but that's not the only thing revealed by Activision yesterday. A multiplayer alpha event for the game will start as soon as tomorrow and it will be available for free to everyone that owns a PlayStation 4. You can pre-load the game already and you might as well do so if you want to play as soon as possible because it's quite likely that a huge number of players will participate in the event, which will last through the weekend.

Finally, the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War was announced too. It's coming on November 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC and at launch day for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
