Barely a month has passed since its successful release on November and Battlefield V is already getting new content in the form of the first Tides of War update, Chapter 1: Overture. Initially, the update was supposed to launch a bit earlier, but due to some "technical problems" it got delayed and it finally became live a few days ago. Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture brings some interesting additions to DICE's first-person shooter, including a new map, another chapter for the single-player campaign, and a new tutorial mode.
Panzerstorm is the name of the new map, and it's a scenario that will take you to Belgium in 1940, where you will be able to choose between 17 different types of tanks to blow up both scenery and enemy troops to your heart's content. Regarding the new chapter of the single-player War Story, The Last Tiger will allow you to play as a member of the crew of a Tiger I tank while they struggle to survive through a massive onslaught of the Allied Forces, showing you a different perspective of the war. Considering that there are many things to learn in Battlefield V, both veterans of the Battlefield series and rookies will welcome the new Practice Range tutorial mode, where you will be able to try out and hone your skills safely. Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture is also the introduction to Chapter Events, weekly challenges with missions that will unlock a special reward once you complete them all. Attrition and Fortifications event was up for the first week after the update, and it's followed by Squad Play and Reinforcements.
Overall, the update has added quite a lot of new things to keep you occupied in Battlefield V, and it's free. What else could you wish for? A really cheap price for the main game? We can help you with that too!! All you need to do is head to our comparator to find the best price to buy Battlefield V.
