Crysis Remastered system specs have been revealed

Crysis Remastered has been in the spotlight since it was announced a few months ago. The enhanced version of Saber Interactive's first-person shooter has become worthy of attention mainly because of the relevance of its predecessor. The original Crysis was a great game, but its most important feature was the quality of its graphics. This was achieved through the use of high-end technology at the time and Saber Interactive did such a good job with Crysis that the game has been used as a benchmark to test and compare the performance of graphics cards and other video games for quite a few years. It's no surprise then that Crysis Remastered has created such an expectation.

After an initial delay, it seems that we are a bit closer to the launch of Crysis Remastered now because the minimum and recommended specs to play the game have been revealed.

Crysis Remastered minimum PC requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3450 / AMD Ryzen 3
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 TI /AMD Radeon 470
  • Storage: 20GB
  • DirectX: DX11

Crysis Remastered recommended PC requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7600k or higher / AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
  • RAM: 12GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 TI / AMD Radeon Vega 56
  • Storage: 20GB
  • DirectX: DX11

It's quite surprising that they are not as demanding as some people were expecting them to be, but remember that Crysis was famous not for being unplayable due to unreasonably high system requirements on PC but for being able to push the performance of your GPU to the limit. It seems that Crysis Remastered is aiming for the same and you can have a preview of how it will look and compare it to its predecessor in the following video.

Crysis Remastered is slated for a release on September 18 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
