Cyberpunk 2077's latest update includes a Balatro surprise

If you are one of the millions of players that have been playing Balatro during the last few months you probably know already that its creator paid homage to Cyberpunk 2077 by introducing some very special Jokers in the game. Now, CD Projekt Red has done something similar in the latest update released for its sci-fi RPG. The update was announced recently as a surprise since pretty much nobody was expecting that the Polish developer would have enough time to add anything else to the game. It should have its hands full with the development of other important projects, including the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.

A new mission

Update 2.2 is now available in Cyberpunk 2077 and it includes a variety of new content and additional features. The patch has added new customization options for vehicles and cosmetics for the main character, allowing for new and unique combinations. Alongside these options, the patch also features a variety of bug fixes, camera options for the photo mode, and quality-of-life changes. However, the most interesting addition comes in the form of "more secrets to discover in Night City."

It turns out that one of those secrets has already been discovered and it's a new quest line that will make V chase a mysterious graffiti artist throughout Night City. Balatro's famous Jokers and this mysterious artist are the connection between both games in this case, but you will have to play the game and complete the quest to find out what is all this about exactly.

This collaboration with Balatro is just another excuse to pay a visit to Night City and immerse into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 once more. Of course, if you know nothing about V, it's about time you use our comparator to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 at the best price and discover one of the best games released in recent years.
