Darktide beta anticipates the success of the release

The official release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will take place next week but all those that pre-ordered the game are enjoying the game already because they are able to access the beta. The event will last until November 29, one day before the release of the game. Although you can expect to see a "Day One" patch for the first-person action game the beta version looks amazing and hundreds of gameplay videos are already available on several streaming platforms. With four classes to choose from, and plenty of different playstyles depending on the weapon you are wielding and the talents you choose as you level up, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is bound to become one of the most important releases of 2022, even if it arrives late in the year.

Vermintide with guns

Developer Fatshark has done it again. All the good things about Vermintide and Vermintide 2 have been taken as a foundation to create an exciting and brutal gameplay experience in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Watching hordes of Chaos cultists and mutants charging frantically at you while striking wildly with their melee weapons looks amazing, but it's even better when you manage to obliterate them with your guns.

In Darktide, all characters are equipped with melee and ranged weapons, and you can swap between them on the fly to perform spectacular combos and deliver lethal blows. As it happened in the Vermintide series, the beginning seems to be quite easy but as you progress through the game and level up, you rapidly discover that the gameplay requires a lot of skill. Knowing when to dodge and block is more important than pulling your gun trigger as fast as possible, no matter how much firepower you can muster. It's especially important against elite enemies and bosses, which are quite hard and require teamwork to be defeated. Facing alone a hulking beast of Nurgle able to spew deadly corruption is a feat that only the most experienced inquisitors would dare to try.

Although we have seen action games based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe before, like Space Marine, the first-person view and the gory combat of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide make the game an immersive experience worth being in the library of all the fans of the franchise. If you are willing to play the game ahead of its release, you can visit our comparator to get your Warhammer 40,000: Darktide code and pre-order the game to take part in the final week of the beta. You will be able to play on 13 different missions across five zones.
