Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will bring back the iconic series next fall

Dead Rising is one of the first video game names that comes to mind when you think about zombie-themed adventures. Capcom released the first installment of the series in 2006 and it brought the photojournalist Frank West into the spotlight as a zombie slaughterer prodigy. Trapped in a shopping mall overrun by zombies, he can use anything he can find to keep the zombies at bay and investigate what's behind their assault. With several alternative modes available, Dead Rising is an exciting adventure that is about to return in a new shape with Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

A modern version

Capcom promises to bring back the series as a modern version created with the RE Engine. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will feature enhanced graphics, a new save system, support for Xbox and DualShock 4 controllers, 4K resolution, uncapped frame rate, and more. The game will not offer many novelties in terms of changes to the story, but it will offer the fans a great opportunity to revisit the original. Of course, those who have yet to discover Dead Rising should definitely give it a try if they are looking for an exciting horror adventure.

"All of the graphics, including the characters and environments, have been renewed, and greatly improved over the original. The character's facial expressions, material textures, and blood spatter all look much more realistic. Overwhelming hordes of zombies fill the screen with completely remade graphics!"

The release of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is scheduled for September 19, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
