Diablo 2: Resurrected supports cross-progression

The huge success of the recent Diablo 2: Resurrected open beta has demonstrated that there is a huge number of players that are interested in playing this new version of the classic ARPG. Even though the main novelty of the game is just its enhanced graphics, the original Diablo 2 had such a huge impact in the genre and delivered so many hours of fun to the players that the opportunity of reliving that experience is enough to create a lot of interest about the new game.

Now that Blizzard has revealed that Diablo 2: Resurrected will be available next week, the only thing left for all those eagerly waiting to play the game is to visit our comparator to find it at the best price to buy Diablo 2: Resurrected cheap. But Blizzard wants to make sure that the upcoming release of the game is a success, and therefore it keeps revealing new information about the game, even if it's at the last minute.

There are many players that play their favorite games on several platforms nowadays. Therefore, cross-progression is a feature quite welcome by them. In a game like Diablo 2: Resurrected, the randomization of item drops and the considerable variety of stats and powers that your equipment can have means that you may not see the identical item twice. Therefore, maintaining your progress if you start playing on a different platform is especially important. Blizzard's executive producer Rod Fergusson has confirmed that Diablo 2: Resurrected will feature cross-platform progression on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Cross-progression is different from cross-play, though, and Diablo 2: Resurrected players will still be limited to their respective platforms when they engage in multiplayer, at least at launch. We don't really know what the future holds for the game in terms of cross-play. Still, with Blizzard immersed in the development of Diablo 4 and trying to save World of Warcraft, Diablo 2: Resurrected may just receive just enough attention to give them some time.

That said, Diablo 2: Resurrected will be interesting enough for those that want to relive their past experiences in the world of Sanctuary. The game's launch is scheduled for September 23, and you can find it at the best price on our comparator anytime.
