Diablo II: Resurrected will have new features

Even though many players expected that Diablo II: Resurrected was only going to be a new version of the classic with just slightly better graphics, it turns out that Blizzard is adding new features to the game thanks to the feedback provided by the players during the technical alpha testing of the game. The testing phase has taken place not too long ago and the developers have managed to gather a lot of information. Instead of staying idle, Blizzard has used all that data to create a table that includes several types of updates for Diablo II: Resurrected that will see the light when the game is released.

Among those additions, the most interesting one will affect the inventory space. Players will be able to organize the items in their shared stash storage chest across three tabs with 100 slots each in Diablo II: Resurrected. That is far more space than what they had in the original version of the game and it will save them from having to sell some loot that may come in handy later on if they change their skills for whatever reason or if they want to pass it to a different character. The game is also receiving several other changes that you can check out the official post on this matter.

The beta for Diablo II: Resurrected will take place in August and it will be another great opportunity for the developers to gather data and improve the game ahead of the release of its final version. To be able to participate in the beta you just need to pre-order the game. The release of the final version of Diablo II: Resurrected is scheduled for August 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
